GeForce RTX 2080 Ti takes first place

Nvidia’s flagship video card – The GeForce RTX 2080 Ti is the today’s pinnacle of performance in gaming, although haven’t went out to the stores yet.

Performance wise, it leaves dust to its competitor , AMD, Not surprising though as it seems that AMD can’t catch up with the high end graphic cards in recent years, also it shows a significant performance gap of about 30% over nVidia’s 1080Ti.

Results for 2K
results for 4K

Performance per Dollar, ridiculous pricing? the results are merely the same for 2K & 4K

In my opinion, nVidia jumped too high with the 2000 Series, looked to me they could try to squeeze some more of the 1000 series, mainly because of the jump in performance – the expectations are higher than usual, and with the fact AMD has nothing to offer in the high end gaming, nVidia blew it up (Some may say its nonsense).

With a ridiculous price tag of 1,199$ for the “Founders Edition“, double from the price of the GTX1080Ti with 30% improvement, is it worth it?
